This thing works and it is pretty dead accurate. Finally, accurate tapeless measuring on the phone and pad... Works best measuring end to end. And make sure to set the temperature right. I use this in conjunction with MyMeasures, padCad, or a notes app to measure layouts in architecture. It requires two supported devices, but is perfect for an iPhone/iPad combo.

When you start the app in two device mode, each device will emit an ear-splitting siren sound. Do not try this when other people in the house are trying to sleep!! Other than the noise, its a great app.

Doesnt like the app.it does not read the correct measurement. Dont download...

If I need my headphones and measurements are that important to me, why not just mark measurements on my headphone cable.

I had hoped to make use of this but it does not yield results that are even approximately correct. Results are anywhere between half actual distance and double actual distance but never close to correct. Dont waste your money.

Rather disappointed in the app, esp. for $2.00. As said by other reviewers, it is just not very accurate. I guess if I did not have any angry bird levels to play, I would play with it... I hardly ever use earphones, and for the inaccuracies of the measurements, would rather just carry my tape measure. Sorry. But a no go...

Wont calibrate, wont work!!!

This is a total waste of your money. Do not waste your time on this worthless Iap it does not work and there are no instructions on how to fix it if it doesnt work

You actually have to tell us how to use it. I do it with single device mode and I have no idea what Im doing. Please add instructions. Jeez.

This app provides a very helpful service--precise measurements--in a really innovative way. The app is clearly well-written, stable, and fun to use. Its a fun app that you show off to friends (in much the same vein as Cycloramic, the app that allows you to stand your phone upright and vibrates to spin it in a circle) and deserves some attention for that reason alone. I hope it garners more attention soon, as this should most definitely be a featured app. Thanks!

I give this 2 stars because its a clever concept. But its a very poor execution. Single device mode crashes my 5S every time I try to calibrate, even after reinstalling the app 3 times and doing a hard reset on my device.

At 1st was skeptical but wow it really works and well. I measured both ways using a single device and using 2 devices. It was right on Im really impressed. However the instructions are not that clear. But not really hard to figure out. I would suggest to the developer to put somewhere the distance limitation using 2 devices. For using a single device its just the distance from your earphones.

I couldnt get this do do anything. I would not recommend it.
